Sky Ranger Adventures features the main story "Buzzy Bean and His Flying Saucer in The Secret of Planet 5," in which Buzzy and his sister Betty encounter space pirates from the planet Callisto and become trapped in an asteroid's gravitational pull as they attempt to return to Earth. After crash-landing, they encounter a mysterious man in a red hat and green coat who helps them evade the villains and warns them not to attempt any tricks. The story culminates with Buzzy and Betty being rescued by the police air patrol, with references to the Sky Rangers arriving on the scene.
