Johnny tells Mayumi the story of how Mr. Masago became a business partner with Shinto Pete. Unfortunately, Masago's former client Sumo Joe fell on hard times and his investors believed it was Masago's fault, so they sent the Yakuza after him. Sumo Joe cleared up the problem. Johnny still doesn't understand why Masago and Shinto Pete became rivals.
