Johnny Dynamite faces three Soviet agents in an espionage thriller, battling them across various locations before being knocked unconscious. He awakens in a prison fortress with the man with the lime, where he reflects on his ordeals and eventual escape back to Chicago. In a second story, a man named Blackie seeks to clear his name of a murder charge by finding evidence from years past, receiving a cryptic letter from Texas that prompts him to hide incriminating documents before turning himself in to the police.
