John Wayne Adventure Comics #16

# Golden Double-Cross John Wayne arrives at a ranch to find his friend Bonanza paralyzed and unable to move, trapped in a locked room by criminals who have stolen $885 and forced Bonanza to reveal their location by the river bank. After John Wayne helps free Bonanza, the two men plan to recover the stolen money, but their scheme is complicated when Bonanza becomes engaged to be married. The story culminates in a wedding ceremony where John Wayne must deliver the groom to the altar while dealing with the ongoing criminal situation.
