"Congo King" follows the jungle adventurer Jo-Jo as he encounters a winged creature in the jungle and suffers injuries from a crash landing against a tree. After resting and gathering his strength, Jo-Jo is confronted by slimy creatures and must defend himself against rodents infesting an island, ultimately solving a jungle problem with the aid of fire and torches. In the story's conclusion, Jo-Jo is turned over to a girl's father for punishment, but the father instead rewards him as a lesson for listening to Tora, with Jo-Jo's mate receiving cold and punishment instead.
