Jingle Belle #2
Paul Dini's mischievous elf daughter of Santa is at the center of a wonderfully chaotic party scene on Jose Garibaldi's cover, where Jingle Belle — in her trademark red-and-white striped stockings — twirls a garland of tinsel while a sprawling crowd of colorful cartoon characters (animals, monsters, teens, and more) pack the frame in various states of holiday revelry. It's a warm, energetic snapshot of the series' irreverent humor, and with a story titled "Belle's Beaus," that crowd of admirers suddenly makes a lot of sense. Issue 2 of 4 in this 2004 Dark Horse run is a cheerful reminder that the holidays are always more fun when Santa's daughter is running the show.
