Jim Henson's The Power of the Dark Crystal #1

This volume collects the first half of the official comics sequel to Jim Henson's 1982 fantasy film The Dark Crystal. Written by Simon Spurrier and Phillip Kennedy Johnson, with art by Kelly and Nichole Matthews, it continues the story of the Skeksis, Mystics, and Gelfling as a new generation discovers the lingering power of the lost Crystal. The narrative adapts an unused screenplay by David Odell and Craig Pearce, originally developed as a potential film sequel decades earlier.
