This volume collects the first half of the official comics sequel to Jim Henson's 1982 fantasy film *The Dark Crystal*. Written by Simon Spurrier and Phillip Kennedy Johnson, with art by Kelly and Nichole Matthews, it continues the story of the Skeksis, Mystics, and Gelfling as a new generation discovers the lingering power of the lost Crystal. The narrative adapts an unused screenplay by David Odell and Craig Pearce, originally developed as a potential film sequel decades earlier.
