Kelly Thompson and Mattia De Iulis deliver a visceral third chapter of Blind Spot, and the cover by Valerio Giangiordano makes a strong case for the series right away — Jessica Jones swings a fire axe into a swarm of hulking, green monster-creatures while a red-haired woman fights at her side wielding a spiked flail, both of them refusing to go down without a fight. The sickly yellow-green palette gives the whole image an unsettling, almost toxic energy that suits Marvel's grittiest detective perfectly. If you're looking for a 2020 Marvel book that earns its Parental Advisory label, this one is clearly not pulling any punches.
