Josh Simmons continues his singular long-form project with Volume 2 of Jessica Farm, published by Fantagraphics in 2016. The spare, handwritten cover — featuring just the title and volume number on an almost entirely blank field — reflects the quietly unconventional spirit of Simmons' wholly self-contained vision. It's a understated package for what promises to be another deeply personal chapter in this years-in-the-making series.
