Hermann's long-running post-apocalyptic series returns with this Dutch-language volume, "Een haven in de schaduw" ("A Harbor in the Shadow"). The cover — rendered entirely by Hermann — presents a grim, atmospheric scene: a rugged, broad-shouldered man in a red shirt stands tall holding an axe, while a crouching, hunched figure lurks at his feet against a brooding, industrial backdrop of masts and searchlights. It's a quietly tense image that captures the survivalist edge this 2005 series has always done so well.
