Jeremiah #17

Hermann's long-running post-apocalyptic series reaches its seventeenth volume with "Drie motorfietsen... of vier" ("Three motorcycles… or four"), and the cover sets a brooding, atmospheric tone right away. A large, imposing figure looms behind a blonde character crouching in the foreground, both framed against a weathered brick wall and a moody red sky, with a heavy motorcycle anchoring the scene. Hermann's distinctive linework and earthy palette give the image that gritty, road-worn tension the Jeremiah series does so well.
