Jeepers Creepers #3

The Creeper looms out of darkness on this atmospheric cover by Stuart Sayger, his wide-brimmed hat and grotesque, tooth-filled maw rendered in a moody palette of deep blacks, sickly greens, and blood reds. Repeated scratched numerals and cryptic diagram-like markings bleed across the lower half of the image, giving the whole composition a deeply unsettling, almost ritualistic feel. Dynamite's 2018 series continues to prove that this horror icon translates powerfully to the comic page.
