Janosch Comic #1

From Ravensburger Taschenbücher comes the very first entry in the Janosch Comic series — Die Globeriks: Gliwi sucht einen Freund ("Gliwi Seeks a Friend"), published in 1973. Janosch's cover art introduces a cheerful, wild-haired child in a striped orange shirt standing arm-in-arm with a shaggy, endearingly scruffy grey dog against a bright green ground. It's a warm, instantly likable image that captures the gentle, friendship-centered spirit this series promises right from issue number one.
