James Bond: The Body #1

Dynamite's 2018 miniseries kicks off with a cover that cuts right to the heart of Bond's duality: on the left, the suave agent in black tie holds a pistol with cool precision; on the right, that same figure is rendered as exposed musculature — the physical machinery beneath the polished exterior. Luca Casalanguida's striking split-image design makes the series title The Body feel immediately and literally apt, framing 007 as both instrument and enigma. Writer Aleš Kot and Casalanguida promise a story that looks past the tuxedo at something rawer underneath.
