James Bond: Kill Chain #3

Andy Diggle and Luca Casalanguida's Kill Chain arc continues with this third issue from Dynamite, presenting Bond at his most composed and deadly. Greg Smallwood's cover renders 007 in immaculate black tie, pistol in hand with a thin curl of smoke rising from the barrel, flanked on either side by classical marble statues — a striking contrast of cold stone elegance and living, calculating danger. It's a beautifully composed image that captures everything Fleming's spy stands for: sophistication with lethal intent just beneath the surface.
