James Bond #3

From writer Benjamin Percy and artist Rapha Lobosco, this third issue of Dynamite's Black Box arc presents a striking cover by Dominic Reardon: a lone figure — unmistakably Bond — stands in a sniper's crosshairs, gun raised, surrounded by a scatter of playing cards, while an ominous, masked presence looms large in the cold blue background above him. The contrast between the crisp red targeting reticle and the loose, painterly washes gives the image a genuinely unsettling elegance. If the first two issues have you hooked, this one makes very clear that 007's situation is only getting more precarious.
