Jakten #[nn]
"Jakten" is a strikingly illustrated story from 1985, written by Pierre Christin and Uno Palmström and brought to life by Enki Bilal in every aspect of its creation—from pencils and inks to colors and letters. Set in the early 1980s, it follows a group of high-ranking Eastern Bloc communists gathered in Poland for a hunt, their personal histories and ideological debates unfolding against the backdrop of decades of revolutionary change. The cover, also by Enki Bilal, captures the story’s tense, brooding atmosphere.
