Rod had written lots of hit songs, but Paula felt his special song was too slow. Rod tells Sam that when that song is a hit, he'll know that he has found his girl. Then he meets Cyndy who is part of a tight rope tumbling act called the Tumblecats. Rod spends a lot of time with Cyndy, but when the Tumblecats' contract is finished at the Blue Grotto, she realizes that she loves Alfonse more than him. Rod titles his next song "Tumblecat" in reference to the kitten Cyndy gave him as a gift before she left.
