His dad and her mum keep saying how suited Dave and Moira were together, but Moira is looking forward to dress-designing in London so she can see other boys. Dave is also in London at medical school, but she doesn't see him until a Christmas party. Then she learns that he was looking forward to escaping her as much as she had been to get away from him. Afterwards, however, London seems dull and she finds she is in love with the new Dave.
