This anthology issue contains three fairy tale adaptations. "The Prince and His Five Servants" follows a prince who seeks to win a princess by completing impossible tasks set by a cruel queen; he recruits five servants with extraordinary abilities to help him succeed. "The Four Musicians of Bremen" tells of an old donkey who escapes his master's farm and runs away to town to make his own living. "Jack the Giant Killer" features Peter, who stays three nights in an enchanted castle to learn to shudder and win the king's daughter as his wife, but encounters black cats and dogs that chase him away before he can complete his task.
