This is an anthology issue featuring four separate adventures. "Thrill 1" shows Jack Armstrong facing sudden death in a mysterious lost city. "Thrill 2" features detective Vic Hardy investigating "The Case of the X-Ray Eye" involving a mysterious baffle. "Thrill 3" depicts Jack Armstrong battling overwhelming odds in his "Big Race." "Thrill 4" presents a thrilling fight for survival in Alaska. Additionally, the issue includes "Vic Hardy's Crime Lab," where Vic Hardy recounts a puzzler case involving a car crash and refers to it as "The Case of the X-Ray Eye," and "Return of the Outlaw," a Western story in which young Arnie Parker confronts the outlaw Blackburn while his father is injured, ultimately pursuing Blackburn across rapids to a government secret lab on Randall's Island.
