This volume collects the first English-language translation of the classic French comic series, introducing the scheming Grand Vizier Iznogoud, whose sole ambition is to become Caliph in place of the Caliph, Haroun al Plassid. Originally created by René Goscinny and Jean Tabary, this edition presents the inaugural adventures of the bumbling villain and his long-suffering assistant, Wa'at Alahf, in a series of satirical, Arabian Nights-inspired misadventures.
