Continuing the beloved Arabian Nights-flavored comedy series in the tradition of Goscinny and Tabary, this 2015 IMAV Editions volume brings writer Laurent Vassilian and artist Nicolas Tabary together for "De père en fils!" The cover, illustrated by Nicolas Tabary, sets a wonderfully chaotic tone: a rotund, cheerfully oblivious Caliph stands center stage, blissfully unaware that two large-nosed, scheming figures in grand vizier turbans are closing in on him from either side with enormous grins. It's a perfectly silly setup that promises the same gleeful plotting and comic frustration that has always made Iznogoud such a delight.
