Itty Bitty Hellboy #2

Art Baltazar's all-ages reimagining of Hellboy gets delightfully chaotic in this 2016 collection, subtitled "The Search for the Were-Jaguar!" The cover says it all: a chibi-styled red Hellboy tumbles headlong down a rushing waterfall while a wide-eyed blue creature peeks up from the churning water below, as two young companions look on curiously from the grassy bank. It's a wonderfully playful package from Baltazar, whose chunky, expressive linework makes this corner of the Hellboy universe feel like a pure joy.
