This final issue of Isola's run arrives with a striking cover by Karl Kerschl — a warrior woman with glowing teal eyes and an elaborate mohawk stands in three-quarter profile, a small fantastical creature with matching luminous eyes perched at her shoulder, the whole composition washed in deep magentas and pinks against a delicate map of a sprawling world. The map backdrop hints at vast distances traveled and territories yet unexplored, lending the image a genuinely epic sense of journey. Brenden Fletcher and Kerschl's fantasy series has always had a distinctive, painterly beauty, and this 2020 closer is no exception.
