Iron Man: Legacy of Doom #1

Two of Marvel's heaviest hitters face each other across a star-filled void — Iron Man in his gleaming gold-and-red armor squares off against Doctor Doom, green-cloaked and armored fists raised, with what appears to be a massive structure looming in the background between them. It's a striking opening image for this four-part limited series, with the title's sword-pierced logo hinting at the dark, knightly undertones promised by "A Knight in Hell." Writer duo David Michelinie and Bob Layton — the team behind so many memorable Shellhead stories — reunite here alongside artist Ron Lim and colorist Moose Baumann to set the stage for what looks like a genuinely compelling clash of iron wills.
