Howard tells Tony of a weak spot in the Sentinels. Tony refuses to let the Sentinels kill members of the human resistance movement and destroys them against his father's advice. The House of M immediately brands this new Iron Man a terrorist but believes him to be Johnny Storm. Magneto forces Stark to sign over his new Vision technology and asks Tony to bring in Storm. Instead, Johnny asks Tony if he can join in the fight. When Tony discovers that Hank Pym is headed for an internment camp, he and Johnny battle Sentinels to rescue him. They find that Pym has planted bombs to wipe out mutants.
