Iron Man 2.0 #6

Part two of the "Fear Itself" tie-in arrives in this 2011 Marvel issue, with a cover by Salvador Larroca that crackles with tension: War Machine and a winged, golden-armored figure surge in from the left while a sword-wielding warrior and other combatants close in from the right, all of them converging on a mysterious dark artifact radiating an overwhelming blast of light. The composition perfectly captures the sense of competing forces drawn toward something dangerously powerful. With Nick Spencer writing and both Ariel Olivetti and Carmine Di Giandomenico on art duties, this issue promises a visually dynamic chapter in one of 2011's most ambitious crossover runs.
