Part of Marvel's 2018 "Damnation" crossover event, this issue finds Iron Fist in a white costume squaring off against a towering demonic figure — a red-skinned devil looming large over a cityscape, with playing cards fanned out and a pair of red dice tumbling in the foreground, evoking the high-stakes feel of a sinister wager. Jeff Dekal's cover art is striking in its bold red-and-white palette, rendering Danny Rand as a lone, composed fighter facing odds that are decidedly stacked against him. With Ed Brisson writing and Damian Couceiro on interior art, this is a sharp entry in the series that leans into the supernatural tension the "Damnation" banner promises.
