The cover of this Invincible Universe issue throws you straight into the chaos, with Invincible himself — in his signature blue-and-yellow costume — at the center of a wild, swirling brawl alongside a crowd of colorful combatants: a hulking green bruiser, a lizard-headed villain, an armored figure, a reptilian warrior, a bird-creature, and more, all tangled in close-quarters combat. The circular composition, courtesy of Nauck and Eltaeb (with lettering by Gabe), pulls every eye inward and makes the whole scene crackle with kinetic energy. With a cast this eclectic and a fight this crowded, writer Phil Hester's corner of the Invincible universe clearly has no shortage of threats to throw at its heroes.
