Inkblot #9 delivers another wild, fantastical chapter from the Image series crafted by Emma Kubert and Rusty Gladd. The cover — penciled by Kubert and inked by Gladd — puts the series' beloved black cat front and center, its bright yellow eyes gleaming as two armored goblin-like warriors scramble behind it, one brandishing an axe, all of them seemingly fleeing the enormous, roaring demonic figure looming overhead amid a storm of debris, cannons, and chaos. It's a wonderfully energetic image that captures exactly the kind of multi-realm mayhem this series does so well.
