In "The Lost City of Yiango," the Phantom races against time to uncover a deception at the heart of a sacred ceremony, when the statue of the god Tianger handed to the Valuga proves to be a forgery. Written by Bill Harris and illustrated by Bill Lignante, this 1968 adventure blends ancient secrets with the Phantom’s relentless pursuit of truth. Cover by Bill Lignante.

In this classic 1968 Indrajal Comics gem, the ever-persistent telegram boy refuses to deliver his message until he’s guaranteed a proper tip—leading to a comically tense standoff with Dagwood, who’s already in a rush. When told he won’t get paid if the news is bad, the boy reads the telegram first, then hurls it at Dagwood’s back as he bolts out the door.
