While swimming a bird steals the Phantom's Ring and drops it for Fatsy, a thief, to find. Mistaking him for a Phantom friend villagers cater to and thieve for him. The ring is then stolen by Trader Joe, who is bushwhacked by Spike and an escaped lifer, who gets caught. He chucks the blasted ring and drops it for Bobby to find. [The rest of this story is as printed in issue 10 up to the point Bobby loses the ring on the Dock - to be concluded in the next issue].
