A bomb is set off at Nacabre's Castle revealing a secret hiding place. Checking the Chronicles the Phantom investigates the exploits of Rachamond. It appears a descendant of Rachamond is attempting to complete the crimes the 13th Phantom prevented. The Phantom places a miniturized radio transmitter on the Crown of Tibet to help him track and catch the descendant.
