When Prince Orq is prevented from shooting a pet deer, he orders the beggar boy that stopped him to be whipped. The boy's grandfather gets the Phantom to intervene, and an angered Prince Orq sends 3 killers to capture/kill him under penalty of death. The Phantom returns the hogtied killers to the palace threatening to lose his temper if the prince tries again. The Prince sends his entire army to try again. The artillery is left behind at the river, the cavalry is left behind at the swamp, and the infantry continues to follow the Phantom's guides when they are defeated. A Coup follows the Rout.
