Indigo Children #6

The sixth chapter of Image's Indigo Children arrives with a cover that's genuinely striking — a lone figure stands dwarfed before the Great Sphinx against a warm gradient sky, while two ghostly, levitating silhouettes hang suspended in the atmosphere above. The cool blue tones of the ancient monument set against that pink-orange dusk give the whole image an eerie, otherworldly pull that fits the series perfectly. Curt Pires, Rockwell White, Alex Diotto, Dee Cunniffe, and Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou continue what looks, from this atmospheric image alone, to be one of 2023's more quietly unsettling Image series.
