Incredible Hulks #630

Issue #630 kicks off the "Heart of the Monster" arc with a cover that immediately signals something wild and dangerous is underway — a fierce, glowing-eyed warrior woman in black and red stands her ground at the center, surrounded on all sides by a writhing mass of monstrous creatures, tentacles, claws, and the unmistakable green fists of the Hulk pressing in from below. Paul Pelletier's pencils and Danny Miki's inks give the scene real weight and menace, with every creature seemingly closing in on this defiant figure who refuses to flinch. Greg Pak's run on Incredible Hulks has been full of big swings, and this opening chapter looks ready to deliver another one.
