Volume 13 of Rika Suzuki's Incarnations arrives from Éditions Delcourt/Tonkam with a hauntingly beautiful cover that draws you in immediately. Two pale, long-haired figures — one silver-haired and one golden-haired — are rendered in delicate, atmospheric linework, their dark clothing contrasting against a muted background laced with crimson branch-like tendrils. If this 2017 release is any indication of the series' sustained artistry, fans of elegant, gothic-tinged manga will find plenty to linger over here.
