In Hell We Fight #2

John Layman and Jok's hellish adventure continues with this second issue from Image Comics. The cover finds a scrappy blue-haired girl and a scowling young demon in a "Metal Brow" tank top standing back-to-back, fists raised, as a pack of massive horned creatures closes in around them from both sides — a glowing doorway offering a tantalizing but distant hope behind them. It's a wonderfully chaotic image that captures the series' mix of gritty kid-versus-the-underworld energy and dark, creature-filled humor.
