Immortal X-Men #15

Part of Marvel's "Fall of X" storyline, Immortal X-Men #15 arrives with a cover by Mark Brooks that is equal parts unsettling and riveting — a grotesquely corrupted, blood-soaked figure in a tattered Wolverine costume lunges forward on claws extended, while a second pair of dark-gloved hands reaches toward the viewer from the foreground, framing the threat in an almost inescapable way. The low-angle perspective and dusky desert horizon amplify the sense of something powerful and deeply wrong closing in fast.
