Jean-Philippe Peyraud's Il pleut is a quietly striking work from treize étrange, and its cover sets a mood immediately: a slender red-haired woman in a trench coat strides through the rain beneath a windswept umbrella, surrounded by bare trees and swirling red leaves. The restrained palette — warm beige, ink lines, and those vivid red accents — gives the image an elegantly melancholic atmosphere that feels wholly its own.
