“Uncertainty”

In "Uncertainty," dance partners Mindy and David find their romance tested when only Mindy lands a coveted gig at a major club—paired with another performer, Tod. As their careers and feelings hang in the balance, a masked dance forces David to step in and show Mindy that love and partnership go hand in hand. Eugene Hughes handles both art and inks for the heartfelt story, while Bernard Baily’s cover captures the tension and charm of the moment.

Mindy and David form a dance team and also fall in love. They wed and their career seems to be on the upswing, but only Mindy is offered a job in a big club. David tells her to take the chance and she is paired with Tod. She’s not successful and to avoid getting fired she flirts with Tod. David takes Tod’s place in a masked dance and proves to Mindy that he’s the only partner for her, on the dance floor and in life.
