Ice Cream Man #8

W.M. Prince and Martin Morazzo's anthology horror series takes a chilling detour into emergency services with this unsettling entry. The cover — rendered by Morazzo — frames the front of an ambulance from street level, its mirror-reversed lettering staring back at you, while through the windshield a female EMT with a clipboard, a grinning figure in the center, and a male paramedic eating what appears to be an ice cream bar all occupy the cab in deeply wrong combination. That creeping sense of something familiar turned sinister is exactly what Ice Cream Man does best, and issue #8 looks like no exception.
