Ice Cream Man #13

The Ice Cream Man is back, and he's pointing directly at you — his wide green eyes and stretched, unsettling grin making his cheerful white uniform and bow tie feel anything but innocent. Martin Morazzo's linework and Chris O'Halloran's candy-bright purple palette do a masterful job of wrapping genuine dread in a deceptively sweet package, as the titular figure holds a bright green arrow that seems to beckon readers somewhere they probably shouldn't go. Image's mature-rated anthology of horror and dark fiction continues to find its perfect mascot in this grinning, soft-serve nightmare.
