Ibis the Invincible's mystical stick senses danger radiating from an old knight's shield in an antique shop, drawing him into a centuries-old curse. When a careless shop owner polishes the artifact, he unknowingly releases Sir Hector—a medieval knight who vanished a thousand years ago—and with him, the machinations of the sorceress Morgana Le Fay, who has been waiting across the ages for her chance at revenge. Now Ibis and Taia must race to stop the sinister pair before their ancient evil claim new victims.

Ibis discovers that a mysterious bracelet sold at an Oriental bazaar has enchanted his companion Taia, drawing her into the jungle to be sacrificed by Poona, a snake priest devoted to his dark god. Racing against time and sorcery, Ibis must battle through the priest's followers, survive a pit of cobras, and break the spell before the ritual is completed—all while trying to protect Taia without losing his precious Ibistick to the chaos.

When a mysterious incense pot surfaces at the city museum, Ibis discovers it's connected to his old nemesis Karjak—who's found a way to cheat death by transforming himself into the Ace of Hearts and enlisting three other enchanted cards to help him reclaim the magical incense before it's too late. With Karjak closing in and his own magic stick turned against him, Ibis must track down the hidden card and stop the sorcerer's resurrection before the twelve-hour window slams shut.
