Paul Wesenfeld's father and some other men bought a piece of land at Lake Raleigh. The property is passed down to Paul through his father, but there are some legal issues with the other heirs. When he goes up to Lake Raleigh to correct the paperwork with one of them, he meets Helen Furgeson. One day, after the two are returning from ice fishing, Paul tells Helen that he is in love with her.
