The eighth issue of Kyle Starks and Artyom Topilin's Image series delivers a cover that earns the title completely — a lone blonde woman stands atop a rubble-strewn wasteland of skulls and wreckage, shielding her eyes against a blood-red sky as a massive, many-tentacled creature looms over her from above. Lee Loughridge's fiery color work makes the glowing green wisps drifting through the ruins feel genuinely unsettling, and the sheer scale between the woman and the towering monster is striking. If you've been following this rural horror series, issue eight promises the situation has gotten considerably worse.
