Jace is shocked to learn that Tanya is not his mother, and that his real mother is being held hostage by a terrorist militia who is demanding that Lucius pay ransom. Unable to cope with these stunning developments, Jace takes off on his own, leaving Tiffany to resume her vigilante role and seek out help from Vol and Detectives Chubb and Whitaker to attempt to rescue Jace's mother on her own.
