# Hyper Mystery Comics #2 Synopsis This issue contains at least two stories: a historical adventure tale in which a Commodore listens to an account of Maiden Island's discovery by Spaniards hundreds of years prior, detailing how the natives' gold ornaments attracted the Spanish explorers who greeted the gentle inhabitants; and "Disco the Boy Detective," in which Disco aids police in investigating a theft at the Fourteenth National Bank, discovering a hole in the vault leading to an adjoining building's basement, and later using his dog's footprints to help solve the case of stolen secret formula documents taken by criminals Beaumont and Morlin.
