Hunker Bunker #[1]

Reinhart's charming Belgian all-ages series gets its first album with Het Roze Gevaar ("The Pink Danger"), published by Bries in 2008. The cover captures a wonderfully cozy domestic scene — a freckled kid in red stretches across a bed alongside two small toddler-like figures and a doll, all peering over a large pillow-fort construction, with a bedside clock and lamp visible in the background. Reinhart's clean, expressive linework and warm color palette give the whole thing an instantly inviting, playful energy that's hard to resist.
